About Us

As a young child, Ali always loved to cook.  He learned to cook alongside his mom and aunt.  Food was always a way to bring people together, and a main staple of family gatherings.  Over the years, he became a great cook, learning numerous recipes which he would receive many compliments on.  After graduating college in Europe, Ali decided to move to the US and began managing his family’s Mediterranean restaurant.  It was there that he developed a strong presence in the community as people would come from all over to enjoy his food.

 In 2013, Ali decided to open his own food truck business, Pita Delight Grill.  He would travel to festivals and events all over Michigan.  It was such a hit that Ali decided it was time to convert his food truck business into his own restaurant.  Because his food truck was so popular in Tecumseh and he loved the community, he decided to bring his love of Mediterranean food and people to Tecumseh.  Ali is so happy to be a part of the community.  Opening this restaurant is a dream come true for him.  It is his hope that the restaurant will serve as a wonderful meeting place for all people to enjoy his food and relax for many years to come.
